Q:
I used to receive the research
documents in my email, will
I still receive my research
in the new format? |
 |
| A:
Yes. Your email will continue
to have the current research
documents attached. However
for those who don't want them
attached, we now offer the option
of embedded links to download
the documents at your convenience. |
|
 |
| 2. |
Q: What is the main difference
between the previous email delivery
method and the new format? |
 |
A: There are two key differences.
First, the new format contains
the headlines of all our current
and most recent research giving
our clients an excellent overview
of all our services and the
depth of our coverage.
Second, for clients who receive
multiple BCA services, they
are now all included in one
email as opposed to multiple
individual emails. This helps
reduce mailbox clutter and ensures
that you receive them all at
once. |
|
 |
| 3. |
Q: Are there any email delivery
options? |
 |
A:
Yes. Email delivery options
are accessible via our website
under the 'Go to My Account'
area (or click
here). These options allow
you to choose between standard
format and mobile format. Standard
format is a an html email, nicely
formatted. Mobile format is
an email formatted in a mobile
friendly layout for those who
frequently view our emails on
their Blackberry, iPhone, or
other PDA.
You can also choose to receive
or not to receive the PDF file
attachments. If you choose not
to receive the PDF files, you
will receive links to download
the attachments. |

Q: I click on 'read online'
in the email and it takes me
to a login webpage. What is
this for? |
 |
| A:
The 'full report' links in the
email take you to the research
documents on our website. These
documents are in a protected
section and requires client
authentication for access. Enter
your username and password.
If you have forgotten your credentials,
please click on Forgot Password.
|
|
 |
| 5. |
Q: I don't know or remember
my login credentials to BCA's
website. What do I do? |
 |
|
A: Click on the Forgot Password
link on the home page of our
website or click
here. You will be prompted
to enter your email address.
An automated email will be sent
to the email address we have
on file. |
|
 |
| 6. |
Q: How do I avoid logging
in every time I click on a 'read
online' link in the email? |
 |
A: Once you enter your credentials,
check on the box that says 'Remember
me'. The next time you are prompted
to login, the authentication
box will have this information
already filled in for you. All
you have to do is click on the
Login button. Your PDF document
will then prompt you to Open
or Save the file.
If you leave your web browser
open after the initial login,
subsequent clicks on the other
links within the email will
not prompt you to login again.
But if you close your browser
and click a link in the email,
your browser will start a new
session and will require login
again. To summarize, checking
on the Remember Me box will
save you time from remembering
your credentials or having to
type them in. Be sure to do
this ONLY on the computer you
frequently read our research
from. |

Q: My login name is now my
email address. However my previous
login name has been remembered
by my web browser. How do I
change this so that it can remember
my new login credentials? |
 |
A: There are 3 ways to do this.
The instructions below may vary
slightly depending on the version
of IE or Firefox you are using.
Internet Explorer:
Option 1 - Uncheck Remember
Me option. Close the browser.
Go back to our site. If this
does not work, it's because
the remember password option
built into Internet Explorer
has also saved the information.
You will need to go to Option
2.
Option 2 - Go to Tools > Internet
Options > From the General Tab,
in the Browsing History section
click on the Delete button >
Now from the Cookies section
click on "Delete Cookies". You
will be prompted to delete all
cookies. Click Yes. (Warning:
Deleting all cookies will also
delete cookies from other sites
you have visited. If you are
unsure whether you want to do
this, go to Option 3 below).
Option 3 - This option is slightly
more complicated as it requires
you to manually find the cookie
and delete it. Go to Tools >
Internet Options > From the
General Tab, in the Browsing
History section click on the
Settings button > Now click
on the View files button. This
should open the folder "C:\Documents
and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet
Files.
Search for the file that looks
like this: "cookie: username@bcaresearch.com/"
Note: replace username with
your name.
Firefox:
Option 1 - Same as option 1
above for IE.
Option 2 - Go to Tools > Options
> Click on Show Cookies. Scroll
down until you find 'bcaresearch.com'
folder. Highlight the folder
and click 'Remove cookies'.

Q: Why do some of the reports
have 'contact us' links? |
 |
|
A: This is because the service
you are trying to access is
not part of your current services.
The 'contact us' link generates
a new email message to your
account manager and lets us
know that you are interested
in this other service or report. |
|
 |
| 10. |
Q: I would like to share
your research with colleagues,
what do I do? |
 |
|
A: : We are glad to hear that
our clients think our research
is worth sharing with others.
However sharing of our research
is strictly prohibited
and requires authorization from
BCA Research. Please contact
your account manager for further
details. |
