READING ACROBAT (PDF) FILES
Adobe Portable Document Files (PDF) has become the Internet standard for documents that are published electronically, therefore we have chosen this as the format in which to present our material. All of the documents found on BCAresearch are in Adobe Portable Document File (PDF) format. In order to read these documents, you will require the Acrobat Professional or Reader software (we recommend version 5.05 or higher). This small program is available free of charge directly from the Adobe website. Versions for almost all operating systems are available including, Windows, UNIX, Macintosh, HP-UX and many more.

We have provided a link to the Adobe site below. The software is easy to install and will be useful whenever you are retrieving electronic documents from the Internet.

LISTENING TO AUDIO WEBCASTS
BCA Research audio webcasts are delivered in streaming media format. In most cases, your computer should be able to automatically play the webcast when you click on the links. Alternatively, our archives section allow you to download the audio webcast in mp3 format. We recommend using Windows Media Player. Window Media Player allows you to play audio, video and multimedia over the internet. Use it to view live or archived webcasts.

ADOBE (MACROMEDIA) FLASH PLAYER
Some parts of our website use Flash (swf) content. Flash enables us to include interactive features while keeping the load-time for our pages down. Although most browsers come installed with (Adobe) Macromedia Flash Player, you may be using an older browser which does not have the appropriate plug-ins. If you are uncertain whether or not you have the required software or you wish to update your current plug-ins, simply go to the (Adobe) Macromedia Flash Player Download Center. There you can download the latest version of the Flash player (see link below). This software is free and easy to install.
